Hi!
I am very slow getting into this, having started my blog in summer 2008.
I see I am not the only person who called their blog "Rosi's ramblings". There is at least one other blog with the same name.
I chose the name for two reasons. The first is that I am apt to ramble on about many things from current affairs to environment, genealogy, politics etc. The second is that I hope to describe (and display photos of) some of our 2-3 times weekly rambles around Northumberland and elsewhere. Maybe also show other of our travels further afield. My husband and I walk midweek with a botany group in Northumberland, Durham or Cumbria, and we also walk whenever possible just the two of us together or with friends, at least once a week. Our own rambles/hikes/tramps or walks can take us anywhere but mostly around Northumberland. In addition we have occasional short jaunts around the North of England or Scotland in our ancient camper van. This is what I hope to write about in my blog.
